Do I have to get a permit

Most cities require an alarm permit.  If you are not sure if a permit is required where you live, call your local police department.  If you are issued a permit , please call me at (214) 597-5547 with that number.  Dallas, Plano, Arlington police and others will not dispatch to your home unless the alarm monitoring center has your alarm permit #.

How do I get a permit?

Call your local police department (non-emergency number) and ask for the alarm permit department, they will answer all questions regarding security alarms and the law in your city.

When you are issued a permit for your security alarm, please call me with that number. 

Dallas, Plano, Arlington police and others will not dispatch to your home unless the alarm monitoring center has your alarm permit  number on file.

What is a false alarm. 

A false alarm is when police or fire response teams are dispatched to your home and there was no emergency.

How can I avoid false alarms?

1. Make sure that all members of your family know how to use the alarm system correctly and know the applicable codes. 

2. Make sure your system is in good working order

3. Call me if you have any problems with your system.
